A CLOSER LOOK  - Stephen Branch
Many Americans see this war as some kind of video game or glorified pep-rally. For the civilians and soldiers in Iraq, I assure you, it is not. Many Americans sense the gravity of armed conflict but are sedated by the media's misleading levity. The US government censors and sanitizes what you see and hear on the news. If you’re going to support this war, it is important you get a closer look at what's really happening in Iraq. These unfortunate souls are just a few of the thousands who have already died. Even these heartbreaking photos cannot convey the horror and pain the victims
and their loved ones experience.

Welcome to reality.  Many will say there's no need to see photos such as these, but I contend that this is precisely what we need to see: The Truth   And if you argue that this is the price innocent people have to pay to bring down Saddam Hussein, I maintain that we are capable of doing it
more benevolently than this.

There has to be a better way. For the sake of humanity, please help stop this war.
